We are currently using Woody Snippets and have developed our own add-on for it.
If we include an image URL in the snippet description, it’s rendered as an image. The advantage of being able to set a “featured image” on a code snippet is that you can quickly, visually scan through your list of snippets.
Each snippet in our setup typically solves an issue or implements a new feature, and by adding an image you can immediately see how that functionality will look once the snippet is activated.
Furthermore, it’s much faster, since a picture often conveys more than a thousand words.
I would therefore like to have an option in the SnippetSettings (for example a Yes/No toggle) to display that image alongside the snippet.
Ideally this would appear as a small thumbnail that you can click to view the full-size image.
