Live reload script error in console
With Live Reload enabled on my development site I get the following error in the console: Is there anything I can do to resolve this?
White Screen on WP 7.0
Just updated a site to WP 7.0 and clicking on SnipVault in the Admin Dashboard returns a white blank screen.
Github sync not working
I have an snippet set up to sync with Github. Only one instance of Snipvault syncing with Github. If I make a change to the snippet, rather than changes syncing with the repo, it shows “Conflicts”. The only way to sync is to manually push the changes.
Warnings generated by PHP snippets prevent the entire snippet from running
I had a snippet that I spent hours trying to determine why it wasn’t running. The “Errors” panel showed a warning (but no errors). It turns out that this warning prevented the snippet from executing. Warnings shouldn’t halt execution. It would be nice if any errors that prevent execution of snippets were shown on the dashboard—clearly indicating which snippets the errors pertain to.
Dead in the water
I deactivated Snipvault briefly, then re-activated but now none of my active snippets are running. Safe mode is OFF. Basically, the plugin is dead.
Sorting doesn't work for folders
It should either use the same sorting set for snippets, or allow manual sorting via drag-and-drop.
UX glitches when dragging snippets into folders
It regularly takes about 30 seconds to move a snippet file into a folder. Here’s an example: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/069fe2mh40s7xp5af2tpm/CleanShot-2026-03-30-at-10.10.27.mp4?rlkey=1ej778wysjphdrbav376eghcw&dl=0
Code revision datestamps don't use server or Wordpress timezone
My current timezone is set to ‘America/Vancouver’ At exactly 1:19pm local time I made a change to a file. However, the code revision is timestamped at 8:19pm (7 hours different).
PHP snippets not executing on front end
I noticed that the timestamps for all code revisions for my snippets were way off. I wondered if it’s because it’s using the server timezone rather than the site (WP) timezone. So I create a quick test PHP snippet to output the current timezone, set autoload-ON, load on=wp_footer , location=frontend. Cleared cache just to be safe. However when I visit a front end page, the output is not there.
Sync bug
I was doing some testing to check out the reliability of the Github) sync feature. I have Github sync enabled in Snipvault, and set automatic sync ON (every 15 mins). I added the word “TEST” to a comment of one of my Snipvault files to check whether it would sync to Snipvault, then committed the change. I switched to Snipvault, and rather than waiting for 15 mins, I clicked “Run sync now” in settings. I then viewed the same file in Snipvault. So far so good-—the change appears. However, if I refresh the page or view another snippet and then return to this snippet, the change is now missing again!
Erroneous indents added when pasting
When I paste code that is already properly indented, extra indents are added, forcing the manual removal of indents in order to achieve consistent indentation for readability). For example, if I copy this: color: var(--color-primary); background: var(--color-bkgrd-highlight); border-left-color: var(--color-primary); …when pasted it is now like this: color: var(--color-primary); background: var(--color-bkgrd-highlight); border-left-color: var(--color-primary);
New lines inserted during saving
When saving, sometimes lines are broken up by having a portion of the code separated by a new line character and moving it to a new line. If I attempt to fix this by restoring the original text so it’s easier to read, it again gets broken up into multiple lines when saving. For instance, this: add_action("admin_init", function () { add_editor_style( "data:text/css," . rawurlencode(' body#tinymce a { color: var(--color-primary); } body#tinymce { background: none !important; color: #fff !important; font-family: "Nunito Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px; } body#tinymce p { color: #fff; } ') ); }); is transformed to this when saved: add_action("admin_init", function () { add_editor_style( "data:text/css," . rawurlencode(' body#tinymce a { color: var(--color-primary); } body#tinymce { background: none !important; color: #fff !important; font-family: "Nunito Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px; } body#tinymce p { color: #fff; } ') ); }); Another example—this: .login input[type="checkbox"], .login input[type="password"], .login input[type="text"] { -webkit-box-shadow: none; box-shadow: none; } is transformed into this when saved: .login input[type="checkbox"], .login input[type="password"], .login input[type="text"] { -webkit-box-shadow: none; box-shadow: none; } How do I stop this madness?
License key not saved
I noticed that my license key is missing again. I entered it again and saved. When I return to Settings again it’s gone again. v.1.2.1.1.
Some links don't work in snippet settings
Both “Load on Hook” and “Needs Capability” settings have a dotted underline and use the pointer cursor, indicating that that are links to further explanations (which would be helpful, particularly for “load on hook”). However nothing happens when clicking on them.
Changes to code editor font size setting not saved
Go to Settings > Editor Settings Enter new value Click Save → FOnt hasn’t taken effect, and when return to Settings, the new setting is not present.
UI is hidden behind WP menu
I can’t access snipvault because it’s hidden behind the WP menu:
CDN breaks JS version updates
While using a CDN, I noticed after several purges on local and on CDN, that the snippets I updated from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 were not properly propagating to the CDN. Instead the CDN continued to use the very initial script saved with a default ?ver=1749591758 appended to the script src. To work around this, I had to delete the old snippet and create a new snippet for each update.
Folder empety after drag and drop
more time after drag and drop a folder in a folder he reset all and after reloading all files goes outside of the folders and you have to reorganize all
